JAKARTA, Indonesia—PT. Mazda Motor Indonesia (PT. MMI) has announced the signing of an agreement transferring its Mazda vehicles and parts distribution business to PT. Eurokars Motor Indonesia, as part of its efforts to strengthen business in Indonesia.

The automobile market in Indonesia has been growing steadily and market conditions are changing rapidly. Aiming to respond quickly to changes in the business environment and maximize growth opportunities, PT. MMI decided to transfer its Mazda vehicles and parts distribution business to PT. Eurokars Motor Indonesia to localize its management for quick and efficient business operations. PT. Eurokars Motor Indonesia will begin operating as Mazda’s distributor from February 2017.

The Eurokars Group acts as a Mazda dealer in Indonesia, distributes Mazda vehicles in Singapore and acts as a Mazda dealer in Australia. In all three markets they have made a considerable contribution to the growth of Mazda brand.
